Please give a warm welcome to our brand new tencel gauze fabrication, now available in our e-store. Tencel is one of the greenest fibers around and here’s why, it’s made from the wood pulp of eucalyptus grown in managed forests (so as to avoid deforestation) so the fiber is biodegradable, naturally resilient to bacteria and will wick the moisture straight from your body leaving you cool, clean and dry. The fibers are then processed in a closed loop fashion meaning that all solvents are recycled and zero harmful emissions are produced. Hang in there, there’s still more to love. Our gauze is then converted into the lustrous, soft and light fabric in a centuries old kimono factory in Japan and shipped over to Los Angeles to be sewn. The end product is incredible, the gauze is double layered in varying tones giving the fabric an unforgettable surface detail and drape only fine wovens can provide. Still need more reasons?
