Please give a very warm, heartfelt welcome to our new cashmere pieces. They’re as artistic as ever wielding a veritable bevy of hand knit alternating stitch patterns and fresh new cuts. Our cashmere program is, and always has been a true testament to sustainability. The goats roam free on Mongolia’s Outer Steppe where the cold, windy climate dictates that their fiber is the longest and most durable. Using this fiber, combed from their downy undercoats enables us to create fine gauge, artistic knits with an incredibly soft hand and resistance to pilling. In addition to producing highest quality cashmere, keeping production entirely in Mongolia helps protect the goats from over grazing and helps sustain a centuries old culture currently threatened by the onslaught of low-quality, mass production of cashmere.
