Style PicksSing Sweet Spring GraphicsWednesday, April 16th, 2008Bright, fun and ready for sun, our graphic tees sing along to spring’s theme “Fado do Mar”. Translated into English from Portuguese, “Fado do Mar” means something very similar to “song of the sea.” Check out these tees, which are all printed on organic cotton basics, and get the back story about where each original drawing came from and what melody it contributes to the Fado love song. Shown: Our fun and edgy skully hoody sets the beat of our fado with loose and loopy line work. Part flower, leaf and skull, this graphic is on our classic deep cut 1/2 sleeve pima hoody and printed across the side seams as well as on the back of the hood. Shown: Pucker up to this long, lean look that wraps you up in a long, lovable fish. It’s features a one color print on our short sleeve lengthened tee and swims with style. Shown: What’s a love song without a wandering heart? We’ve captured this airy romanticism with our windy heart tee. Two colors of flowers, text and high energy lines are printed on our super soft pima scoop v neck rendering it almost impossible not to fall in love with this tee. Shown: The vento tank has texture to the max with a small sailboat traversing a looping ocean with currents saying “fue num grade vento” translating roughly to “upon a great wind”. This vintage-esque style has a one color print across our sporty organic heather jersey cami. Shown: Lightweight with an edge, the skully v neck tee features a sort of skull, sort of flower graphic with an extra tidbit of art along the wearer’s left shoulder. With a two color print on our classic pima scoop v neck tee, this style is as wearable as it is adorable. Shown: The clover tee’s fun sketchy line work comes straight from a drawing out of Karen’s sketchbook. While visiting Portugal, she took particular notice of the details in the ironwork and came up with this strong, single color print that we placed high on the front and back of our short sleeve lengthen tee. Charming, isn’t it? Shown: With it’s high energy and intricate detail, the butterfly people tee plays the strings in our song. It’s printed across our pima long henley tank with two colors of text, abstract faces, floral flutters and flying butterflies. Shown: Tiles of all sorts can be found all over the Portuguese seaside and this one in particular can be found all across our organic heather jersey short sleeve tee. Light, springy and fun, alternating colored tiles span the entire front panel with a small charm-like crest at the lower back. Shown: And let’s not forget our graphic bags, the clover purse tote features the iron inspired loops and curves also found on our clover tee. This style has prints on both the front and back. It’s fully lined, surprisingly spacious, buttons to close and has one zipping pocket on the inside. Shown: If your heart is on the move, it’s always a good idea to pack a few essentials to travel along with it and where better than in the windy heart crescent bag. Fun, flowing graphics are printed across the side of this oversized slouch which is made of surplus and organic cotton materials. To make sure stuff is safe, it comes equipped with button closures and an inner zipping pocket. |
