The lengthened tee is to Stewart+Brown as water is to the ocean. That may be a bit grandiose but it makes the point that the lengthened tee is our best selling product ever and for good reason. It’s cozy as can be, long, luxurious and looks great on every body type. I had each Stewart+Browner bring in their own lengthened tee and put together an outfit they’d wear it with. We all have our own sense of style so it was fun and interesting to document how everyone wore theirs. Check it out.

Make an Outfit, Win a Prize

Like our story about all the different outfits you can make with a lengthened tee? We did and we want to see what our fashionable readers can do with this classic. Here’s what you do, make an outfit with a lengthened tee. You can use an actual tee or just a picture from our website, show us what you’d wear it with including shoes and accessories and send it over to contest@stewartbrown.com. Be creative, take a picture, draw a picture, cut it out of a magazine, express yourself while you’re at it. Please send only one image showing the look and please don’t send anything over 1 megabyte. Make sure to send your name, email and a name for your outfit. Also, by sending us your image, you’re consenting to us posting it on our website. In our next newsletter we’ll announce the winner and if it’s you, we’ll email you a $100.00 gift certificate to stewartbrown.com. The submission deadline is February 12th, Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

San Jose Fashion Week is putting together quite a website with interviews and details about all the designers involved in the event, including us. They recently published an interview with Stewart+Brown co-founder Howard Brown that hits all the usual questions about how Karen and Howard met, how the brand started and also ask new questions about how we’re dealing with the economic shift and our values in these changing times. Holidays Across the Land – Anniversary Edition

It was a year ago that we started our blog and newsletter and we kicked it off with a story about what each employee did over their winter vacation. Now we’re bringing it back for 2009 with new images and a blurb about what each of us is looking forward to in 2009.
