Wing Tee
The Spring 2009 collection is all about finding inspiration in the things that already surround you like a backyard garden, community park or local library. For this story we took pictures of things around our office and combined them with styles from the new Spring collection to show how easy it is to find art wherever you look. The image shown here features our wing tee, the view from our skylight and a binder I found in Karen’s office, check out the rest of ‘em.

Shown:
Gathered Tank
For this look I took the gathered tank and paired overlayed onto a picture of the CD rack by Howard’s desk. I like how the gathers in the tank kind of resemble the rows of CDs.

Shown:
Blocked V Wrap Dress
Here’s our wrap dress in stone, black sand and blueberry drifting amongst the flowers in our back patio. This little dress is meant for the outdoors. It’s flattering, fun and super comfy.

Shown:
Picnic Blouse
This picnic blouse and it’s rich red strawberry print is the perfect compliment to the wicker basket on top of Paris’ bookshelf. What better backdrop for a picnic blouse than a picnic basket?
Shown:
Open Back Tee
The open back tee has a deep scoop neck and criss-crossing back that creates a sexy open look. The loopy look to this tee went nicely with this oval patterned tapestry I found.

Shown:
Grow Tee
This tee is all about small-scale sustainability and encourages people to grow their own garden, herbs and vegetables. We have our own little veggie and flower garden on our back patio here at the office so these two things fit nicely together.

Shown:
Asymmetric Drape Tee // Lace Blanket Wrap
Both of these fun flowing flowing lovely looks flutter around like a spring breeze. I found some other vintage fabric clippings that reminded me of meadows and really liked with way the green color complimented the blueberry and primrose colors.
Shown:
Short Sleeve Tee
I liked how all the different colors of these shirts hearkened back to all the different color tabs on these binders full of dividers.
Shown:
Print Accent Polo
On one of their trips to Mongolia, Karen and Howard bought these paintings that were made by art students in Ulaanbaatar. I love the bright colors and thought it looked nice with the printed accents and bright colors in this polo.

Shown:
Madame Butterfly Tee
I found a little drawing that our intern Alison had pinned up at the intern desk and liked the loopy shapes. Since Alison hand drew the graphic for this tee, I thought it’d be the perfect compliment.
