On November 6, 2009 Karen and Emily attended the first annual Green Bloggers
Conference at the Environment Furniture Showroom in Los Angeles sponsored
and hosted by Eco-Stiletto. More than 60 bloggers, journalists, producers
and publicists from around the country gathered to discuss the ever-growing
field of eco-focused social networking as a profession.

The event started with everyone having the opportunity to mix and mingle and
sample all sorts of delectable eco-goodies such as chemical-free makeovers by Terra Firma Cosmetics, manicures from Sheswai Lacquers and non-toxic (hairspray-free!) up-do’s by the talented team of Steam Salon. The gathering continued with an interactive panel discussion which
encompassed all aspects of environmental issues within the blogging
atmosphere and the future of online media.
